The initial assessment session is free of charge. It is a chance to gather information, understand your support needs, and make sure I am the right service and therapist for you. The relationship between the client and their therapist is paramount in building trust, feeling safe and working towards healing and change and so it is important that you feel comfortable with the therapist you choose.
Following an initial assessment, together we can discuss how many sessions you may need and review your progress as we go. You can have fewer sessions if that feels right for you and you can end your therapy at any point.
Each session for an individual Client is charged at a rate of £60.00 GBP for a 60-minute session, unless changed by you or the counsellor
Each Session for a couple is charged at a rate of £95 GBP for a 90 Minute session unless changed by you or the counsellor and is usually held via a video call platform using the Writeup video appointment platform or if needed WhatsApp, Zoom, Teams or WriteUPP Video Platform
Sessions are held by telephone or by video call, using a platform such as the WhatsApp video Appointment platform or zoom, WhatsApp or Teams of needed.
Initial Consultation / Assessment - Up to 40 Minute session – No Charge
Individual counselling - 60 minutes: £60.00 per session.
Couple counselling - 90 minutes: £90.00 per session.
Fees may increase on an annual basis.
I ask for 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel a session.
I understand that unforeseen circumstances arise, and these can be discussed on a case-by-case basis. If cancellations become frequent, I would like to talk together about whether now the right time for you is to assess counselling.
If due to an unforeseen circumstance I need to cancel a session, there will be no charge for this.
A £30.00 cancellation fee may apply if less than 48 hours' notice is given, or the full cost of the session if less than 24 hours' notice is given.
